LiveFrame is preparing for its first App Store release. These instructions describe the upcoming version.
Create a Live Photo
- Tap Choose video and select a video.
- Use Trim to select a 1–5 second segment.
- Use Key photo to choose your still frame. Use Crop to adjust the aspect ratio and framing.
- Tap Create, then Preview motion.
- Tap Save to Photos. Saving requires the one-time Unlimited Saves purchase and permission to add photos.
Common questions
Why is Lock Screen motion unavailable?
Being a Live Photo does not guarantee wallpaper motion. iOS decides whether each Live Photo is eligible. In Settings, open Wallpaper, add a new wallpaper and select the saved Live Photo. If iOS reports that motion is unavailable, try another source clip. LiveFrame does not provide continuously animated Home Screen wallpaper.
Why does the saved motion feel faster or slower?
The selected 1–5 second interval is retimed to approximately 1.05 seconds of silent motion. Choosing a still frame near either end can also change the motion timing. Always preview before saving.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the app’s settings with the gear icon and choose Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that originally purchased the unlock. An internet connection may be needed.
What if saving fails?
Check your iPhone’s available storage and allow LiveFrame to add photos in Settings. Confirm the video is downloaded if it is stored in iCloud, then try again.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. The app processes selected videos on your device. iCloud Photos may sync your media according to your Apple settings.
