Been privacy policy

Effective October 27, 2026. This policy describes Been for iPhone, provided by 2DTO3D Co., Ltd.

Routes stored on your device

With your permission, Been processes precise location coordinates and timestamps to record your movements and estimate visits. Routes, visit history, and place names are stored locally on your iPhone. Been has no account system or route-upload server in this version. We do not send your route history or place names to the advertising SDK.

Your location choices

You can pause recording in Been and change location access in iPhone Settings at any time. Always access enables background recording. Granting permission is optional, but recording features require location access.

Maps, photos, and sharing

Maps use Apple Maps and Apple's services. Photos you select for a card are processed locally. Exporting a card passes the image to the destination you choose, which has its own privacy practices. Inspect cards before sharing because paths may reveal places you visit.

Advertising

Archive may display Google AdMob banners. Been requests non-personalized ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, device or app identifiers, ad interactions, usage information, and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Non-personalized advertising does not mean no data processing. Google's User Messaging Platform manages applicable consent and privacy choices. Available privacy options are accessible from Been Settings.

Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. Advertising processing and retention are governed by Google's policies and applicable choices. Been does not request permission to access the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.

Purchases

Apple handles purchases and payment information. Been uses StoreKit to verify whether ad removal is owned. We do not receive your payment card details. Restoring purchases checks the entitlement associated with your Apple Account.

Retention and deletion

Local history remains until you delete it. Use Been Settings → Your data → Delete all routes and places. Exported images must be deleted separately. iPhone backup settings may include Been data; manage backups with Apple. We cannot retrieve your locally stored routes. Local diagnostic information helps investigate recording or advertising failures and is not automatically uploaded to us.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide, use it to respond, and retain it as needed to handle your request. Please avoid sending sensitive route or payment details. Contact us for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have sent us.

Children and changes

Been is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us. We may update this policy as the app changes and will update the effective date.
